Systems and Complexity for Change Leaders
Workshop Overview
This is a highly interactive workshop in which you will collaborate with forward-looking change agents from around the world to understand and learn to navigate the most important concept for change management in the 21st century - complexity.
Designed for change managers and organizational leaders, this course breaks down the mysteries of complex adaptive systems and gives you practical tools to navigate and influence change effectively.
Module 1
Complexity
In this module you’ll explore the core principles of complexity, including complex adaptive systems, emergent behaviour and unpredictability - helping you understand why your organization’s biggest change challenges are complex patterns to shift, not problems to solve.
You’ll explore the HexiChange system as a method grounded in complexity thinking to help shift your change culture.
Module 2
Sense-Making
You’ll explore how sense-making is 21st century change management and how the idea you can predict and plan change is 20th century thinking.
You will leverage the HexiChange system to make sense of your organization’s current change culture.
Module 3
System Interventions
Develop the skills to design, test, and adapt interventions within complex systems.
By leveraging HexiChange and Lean Change principles, you’ll learn how to approach change as a series of experiments, iterating on feedback to drive meaningful and sustainable transformation.
Module 4
Integration
Module 4 is all about integrating HexiChange and solidifying the skills needed to facilitate. You’ll design your own HexiChange workshop to deal with a real-world challenge.
